Melissa has been involved in dance since the tender age of seven. Since then, dance has brought so many special things into her life. Her love of dance and children shines through her teaching as she strives to instill a positive attitude toward dance in every student. She is a member of B.A.T.D in tap and jazz.

As the founder, owner, and Managing Director of Canadian Dance Academy, Melissa is passionate about both the artistry and the community behind the studio. She loves working behind the scenes, building lasting connections with families, and watching students grow and develop year after year. Having grown up as a dancer herself, she finds endless inspiration in seeing her students share the same joy and passion on stage.
