Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Kassandra Sciacca’s love for dance has been growing for nearly three decades. Over the years, she has established herself as a multi-disciplinary performer, award-winning choreographer, passionate educator, and respected adjudicator.

Her formal competitive training began at her local studio where she trained simultaneously at Mayfield Secondary School in the Regional Arts Program. There she studied ballet, composition, and various jazz and modern techniques, graduating as valedictorian of her class. Kassandra then continued to refine her artistry at Toronto Metropolitan University, earning a BFA in Performance Dance. During her time there, she was selected to co-produce a showcase and performed professional works by Marie Josie Chartier, Hanna Kiel, and many other esteemed choreographers.

Beyond her academic training, Kassandra has invested in her professional development, continuing to take class and earning her associate teaching certificates with the B.A.T.D. as well as her Level 1 Gymnastics Coaching Certification. Her passion for both performance and education has led her to work on exciting projects such as David Foster’s Miracle Gala, the Toronto Metropolitan University Alumni Gala, Petites Danse, and Young Human Body Expression.

With extensive teaching and choreographic experience across all ages and levels, Kassandra has been recognized with awards for her vision, creativity, and ability to inspire her students at a high level of training. She now devotes her career to sharing her love of dance, focusing on teaching and adjudicating, and is dedicated to motivating the next generation of dancers to discover their own voices through movement.
