Jayden Oliveira

Jayden's passion for dance started at just 18 months old and she continues to pursue a career in dance. Jayden has received years of training in jazz, hip-hop, lyrical, contemporary, acro, tap, and ballet at the Canadian Dance Unit. She has had the opportunity to study under numerous dance industry professionals thanks to her training at CDU and other institutions. With CDU's full-time competitive team, Jayden has participated in dance competitions both internationally and regionally. She has won numerous awards and scholarships from workshops across North America. Jayden recently participated in the OTF Sick Kids Gala, where she performed with other dancers and musical artists in an effort to raise money and awareness. As a student in the Regional Arts Program, Jayden has contributed to numerous school performances as both a choreographer and a performer. She was recently cast as the lead in her school's winter show. This year Jayden has taken on the challenge of being Co-Captain of her school's Dance/Cheer team.

Jayden has had the privilege of being a teaching assistant at Canadian Dance Unit and Canadian Dance Academy for many years. Being on the CDA faculty has Jayden incredibly excited. She aspires to influence the upcoming dancers of the younger generation and is dedicated to spreading her love of dance.
