Findley Turnbull exhibited a need for movement from a very young age. She began dancing at Sean Boutilier Academy of Dance at the age of four where she was able to pursue her love of dance. Findley trained extensively in many styles of dance including tap, jazz, ballet, contemporary, modern, lyrical and hip hop.

Findley graduated from the SBAD competitive team where she was able to showcase her abilities, but more importantly, she was able to collaborate with other dancers and choreographers. Findley attended Cawthra Park Secondary School as a Dance Major in the Regional Arts Program. She was a member of the Repertory Company at Cawthra Park where she was able to choreograph solos and group numbers as well as teach classes. Upon graduation, Findley received the Senior Dance Award. She also received the Governor General's Academic Medal which is awarded to the student graduating with the highest average.

Findley continues to seek out opportunities to expand her knowledge of dance which has led her to attend classes, workshops and conventions. Findley is currently attending the University of Toronto where she is pursuing a degree in Biochemistry. She firmly believes that dance has provided her with a strong work ethic, leadership skills, the ability to collaborate, and a sense of self confidence. Findley is eager to share her passion for dance so that others may experience the same joy and personal growth.
